Sample letter for Senator/Congressman, I-140 ND:May-03, no FP, no RFE, please help

Hi,

My I -140 EB3 is pending in VSC since May 2003, no Fp, no RFE, no progress etc.

I am thinking to contact a senator or congressman. Please help in providing an impressive draft of letter.

I have a sample attached which I used. I had the same situation but after my congressman office made many calls, they have now issued atleast an RFE on my case.

I think the key is not so much how impressive the letter is, rather how persistent you are on following up with them. If you can go personally few times and meet thats better, otherwise make calls to get your update and remind them, it may take 1-2 weeks before they really make calls. And secondly atleast in my case the congressman was more helpful than senator because you can get more attention there.

My case is also similer to yours, but I received a FP notice 2 weeks back. All the best! BTW.. I didnt contact anyone.

I am also in same position as you guys. My I-140 is pending since Jun 2003.
I completed 1 FP on 9 Sep 2004.

Before contacting Senator, do we need to tell our lawyer about this ?
I am little scared to call them, I hope that would not screw any thing in our I-485 processing ?

wht do you guys think ?

Could you please share your RFE details ?
 
The RFE is just sent by USCIS on 10th sept. I didnt get it yet. As soon as I get it, I will post it because I would also need forum members help to reply to it..

My I140 LUD changed on friday to 9-10-04 with the message that and RFE is mailed and I also got email.I checked just now LUD shows 9-13-04 now. I didnt check on 11th and 12th.
 
who represents DC?

This seems to be interesting discussion about congressman or senator help. I was wonderting who represents Washington, DC?
