Same Day Service at Regional Passport Agency

I have made a 9am appointment at the SF regional passport agency. Provided that I showed all the essential documentations (certificate of citizenship, driver license, 2 pictures, money, and airline tickets within 2 week to travel) I am wondering if anyone can share any experience how quickly I can obtain the passport. Will I get the passport by 5pm? Any special attention I need to pay? Please advise and thanks.

Depending on the country you are planning to visit, and whether or not you will need to get a visa, you may get the passport on the same day or the next day.
