Hi Guys,
I think the procedure to obtain EAD and AP from the local Boston office on the same day is still there.
What i do not understand is why the people are applying to vermont service center even though they can obtain their EAD and AP from the local office after filing your green card application.
Here is what is written on the website about local filing for EAD and AP:

Local Filing Procedures
Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) (first time & renewals):
Applicants for employment authorization may come to the Customer Information Center (JFK Federal Building, Room E-160) to file their application, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. You will be issued a ticket during those times but please note that you may have to wait several hours until your ticket number is called. The Customer Information Center is closed on the third Friday of the month, all weekends and Federal holidays. Employment authorization documents are issued the same day in most cases. Please bring a completed Form I-765, money order, picture identification and evidence of employment eligibility at the time of filing.
Advance Parole:
For certain non-citizens already in the United States wishing and /or needing to travel abroad prior to the final adjudication of a particular immigration petition, advanced permission is needed to ensure that they will be permitted to return to the United States. This permission may be granted at the discretion of the District Director. This permission should be sought by, but not limited to, asylum applicants, parolees, people with Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and certain intending immigrants with an Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) application filed and pending with BCIS and some others already in the U.S.
Filing Instructions: To apply for Advance Parole, please submit Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, IN PERSON between the hours of 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the Customer Information Center. Advance Paroles are issued on the same day in most cases
Am i missing something here. Please clarify......
