Hi Guys,

I work in different State and my residence is in different state. my I-485 has the address of my present residence. Both states are in VSC. But my company don't have the tax id of my residence state, so they have the office address on my salary slip and deducting the tax of that state only. Will it be a problem in GC processing if salary slip has office address. As you know that this is a mess of consulting companies. I am gone use AC-21 after 6 months, so this mess is only for 6 months. I know that at the time of tax filing I can correct it. But the question is of address on salary slip incase of RFE on I-485.

Any feedback from any one in this issue is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

you can pay Estimated Taxes on your Income for your resident state and include ...

... the IRS Payment receipts along with your RFE for Payslips
You could also show your State Tax filing receipts for prior years ... if you want to go to that extent.... legally you are required to File tax returns for your resident state whether or not
INS asks for these returns.

For Address you should ask your Payroll people to change the address and if they dont agree ask them to just put your name and SSN on it instead of the office address.
