Salary requirement for EB-2

Can someone please tell me what is the salary requirement if you need to file your green card application in EB-2 category. My lawyer is telling me it needs to be $85k per annum. He also mentioned that now EB-2 and EB-3 are same processing timewise. Is it true?

Salary depends on the position and location. EB-2 vs. EB-3 may or may not have any effect at all on the prevailing wage.
 
Labor - EB2/EB3 Confusion

:confused:

My labor was filed under RIR in the CT SESA recently.

I did not see any mention of either of these categories. Where does the EB2/EB3 category come into picture during labor?.

Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

EB2 & 3 comes in pictures only when you apply for I-140.. It has nothing to do with Labor
