I came on board thru a staffing company in NJ on H1.
I was in a hotel at NJ for 20 days and used to report to their local office for 8 hrs a day.
Then I worked in Kansas for a couple of months at a client site which recently got over. Now I am on a bench and am still in kansas.
Now they want me to come back to NJ office and report every day, otherwise they said they wouldn't pay me as I wont be filing time sheets.
Original agreement talks about annual gross salary, and not the hourly rate, with other benefits.
Is is legal on their part to do something like this?
Is there anyway to lodge a complaint with DOL against them?
Please advise.
