My I-140 got approved serveral days ago. But my lawyer refused to file the I-485 beacuse my current salary is 2% less than the salary specified on LCA. Even though my manager agree to give me a salary increase this June, the lawyer still insists that at the time of filing 485, the salary should reach the one on LCA. Does anyone know where I can find an official docs saying that the salary on LCA is for future job, the applicant only need to be at that salary when the GC is approved?
Your help is very much appreciated.

I think that your employer could give you your employment letter now stating that presently you are making $xx and once you get your permanent residency you will be making your $LC salary. This should solve your problem. One would expect this creativity from your lawyer! Good luck!

NO SUCH REQUIRMENT !!!!!!

Green Card is for anticipatory job so it doesn\'t matter how much salary you are getting now!
I think you should hire a LAWYER not an IDIOT!!!!

doesn\'t matter u can file I-485

u can apply for GC (AOS) with approved I-140 even though your
wages is lower than that mentioned in your ETA-750 form. But it
has to be convinced that your employer agreed to pay the wages that
he signed in ETA-750 form. U should have applied for GC longtime ago
unless your lawyer screwed up your ETA-750 form if he mentioned that u
are getting agreed wages while u applied for LCA.
Many applicant got GC with this condition. Try to explain ur lawyer or get skill lawyer.
Good luck.
