Salary Infomration in I864

Hi,
I am on H1b married to USC in Dec 2006. My wife graduated from School in May 2006 and only recently she has started her job search. So in 2006 she did not have any income.

Now we have filed our joint Tax Return for 2006.

In form 864 section 25 (Federal Income tax return information) it has been mentioned that :

I haveattached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only themost recent tax year.

My total income (adjusted gross income on IRS Form 1040EZ) as reported on myFederal tax returns for the most recent three years was:
(most recent) $
(2nd most recent) $
(3rd most recent) $

Now here my wife's income was $0 however if we go by total income on IRS Form the it is 'our' income since we have filed taxes jointly.

So does joint income count (which includes mine--already mentioned in section 24 b ) or would it be $0

So since we only filed joint tax return in 2006 I can write my income.

However for 2004, 2005 we were not married and did not file joint tax return so she has to write her salary too correct.


Question 2:
In I 864 Section 24e.

I see the following statment:

The person listed above, "MY NAME"
does not need to complete Form I-864A because he/she is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents.

---So do I need to complete I-864A ? My wife is USC and I am the ONLY one applying for permanent residency through her. In my understanding I-864A is only required if I have accompanying family members (other than USC) no ?
