My LC has been approved for a prevailing wage of 75K. This was filed
4 years ago. My current salary is 118K. Recently the I-140 got approved.
Will the salary difference cause problems in the I-485 stage?
For a newbee, you seem to be making good money :-D
Jokes apart... from what i know, this should not make any difference post 140 stage, as long as you have same/similar job description/title and duties.
With the current retrogression and folks with PDs as early as 2001 are filing 485s, there would many folks who are making more 150% of prevailing wage specified in their initial labor. In fact I know few who make more than 200% .. I wish it were me...
Even at I140 stage, it would be a problem and company needs to provide additional docs, if you make less than prevailing wage at any point since applied for labor, but if you making more it is not a problem.
