Salary and Job title issue

Guys : Sorry for starting one more discussion on this much debated topic.

GC is for a future job. Hence I think, both the salary and the job title could be different post-GC.

For example:

Let us assume I have my expertise in Cisco as well as Microsoft and well qualified and certified in both to prove my credentials. Also assume in my current H1 job I am a Systems Administrator utilizing my NT skills. My GC-job could be for a Network Admin (Cisco) job assuming I have enough experience to handle a Network Admin job.

Same goes for the salary too, is my guess. In my current H1 job, I could be getting 55K and assume my labor for GC is cleared for 60K. Probably my notarized appo letter should say my current salary is 55k and also mention post-GC, the salary would be 60K and that is it.

Guys: ur comments please.

You are right.
Also consider that INS may start suspecting fraud in certain cases -
Your current job\'s salary is 80K and future one is 60K.
Your current title "senior VP of engineering" and future one is "software QA tester"
In any case, your LC,I140 and other forms should be inline with eachother.

Did anydbody got GC like this

Did anybody got Thru CP and got GC. who are in this situation and mentioned both current salary and future job salary on the empl. letter ?

I mean say, 56k current salary and 60k future job salary .

Anyone, got thru CP like this?

As per my attroney this should not be any issue. Everybody knows that salaries are less compared to what used to be some 4-5 months back or when LCC was filed. and there are reasons for this which are known to all.
Also, most desi companies pay salaries as per cost of living. That way if you were in East cost at the time of labour filing and now your salary is reduced because you are in central US (or any place where cost of living is very inexpensive).
I am sure consulate checks Employment letter and does not match salary with LCC salary, because of valid reasons.
