My 485 was approved 10 days back. Does my employer need to start paying me immediately the salary that was mentioned on 485 application? Whose responsibility is it to see to it that I get that salary, mine or employer's? I don't want to remind my employer as he has troubled me a lot over last seven years of employment. If it is his responsibilty to start paying me the preferred salary as soon as 485 is approved, I would rather wait for few more days and report it to department of labor and get him blacklisted...

I would not alert uscis to the fact you are not being paid what was stated to them prior to approval. This could be construde as fraud by them and they would revoke your 485 and deport you from the country. Much better to find another job now you are free and don't go down that dangerous path you were considering.

England is correct

Yes, England is correct. Whatever wrong your company did to you doesn't matter, you have got the green card through them and they helped you for that. Do not call USCIS and put yourself into problems. Just find another employer and enjoy your freedom.

Good luck.

I disagree .... there is no requirement that the salary stated in the approved labor be paid BEFORE approval.
The only requirement is that there should a permanent job offer (with the salary as mentioned in labor) after approval of 485.

If you were getting paid less before approval, that CANNOT be construed as fraud.

But in any case, it might be easier for you (its really not a question of being "safe") to get a new job ...... dept of labor takes a long time to process such cases - its not as simple as you think :)

Dude,

Why are you mad. Company is not bound by law to pay you anything as mentioned in the app. U can go ahead and inform USCIS (be prepared to get your GC revoked). Find another job... what are you waiting for.

common my dear friend, y do you want to stick with them if you think that they are not good..

FIND A NEW JOB/EMPLOYER which you like... even people are moving with 140 approval..

I may be wrong but I am sure no one is 100% satisfied with their US job...
