Safest time to go to India

I am curious to know what will be the safest time to go India once you have filed for citizenship. I don't want to miss anything, but at the same time I don't want to loose any opportunity.

I will be filing from Atlanta GA.

One more question, if I file during 5yrs - 120days will my application be returned or it will be accepted but will not be processed?

Thanks in advance

After FP before interview. Application will be returned, however, I believe you check will be cashed.

First, What are you thinking trying to file 120 days in advance. Your question indicates that you have had hardly any experience with USCIS/INS.

DO NOT file 120 days in advance. Most chances you will loose your money and have your application denied. Do EXACTLY as you are told 90 days or less.

I am from Atlanta, my timeline is:

PD late August 2004
FP Mid November 2004
Interview - Do not expect it before August 2004.

Take into account at least a month fluctuation.

Take care,

Yalag.
