S1932 - IsnAmerica.Org is doing amazing job

I wonder why people are urging there congressmen thru these letters to allow retrogressed guys file for 485 -- concurrently with there 140.
The argument supported in the letter is factually incorrect -
"Without the ability to file for I-485 many qualified professionals will be forced to leave the U.S. and return back to their own countries taking highly specialized knowledge and experience with them. "

In fact if there H1b is getting expired -- they can get it extending the H1b by 3 more years -- which gives much better protection then the yearly EAD renewal thing.

No one is writing about - to take a look at increasing the country limit or redefine the country limit based on the population etc. Which will help more towards helping to reduce the retrogression.

More important issues like labor reuse to get ahead is not dealth with. This is what happened in Oct 2005 -- when the USCIS reorders the list -- they found many many guys with older PD's which came by due to labor reuse. I am not against pre-approved labor but when they get unfair jump is the issue.

Whatever recaptured visa number comes out of this -- it will disappear in the thin air -- without addressing this imporant issue of labor reuse.

Our argument should be first to remove the bug and then release the visa numbers .. that would help the most and the wait time for all will be somewhat uniform.

Wondering why IsnAmerica.Org is so much focusing on -- ablity to file 485 even when retrogressed?
