yep. another bill with somewhat curious provisions.
especially look at the requirement for the DOL to process all the backlogged applications within 60-days of the passage of the bill.

all the PERM and certified backlogged applicants glutting the CIS to complete AOS!

This SKIL bill looks pretty good but there are going to be some harmful provision. In the end there just isn't a totally perfect bill out there. However any bill that will add the visas to the current quota will help.
The real problem is for these bills to make it to law. Introducing them to the Senate is one thing but making them laws is another story. Lets see what happens. Right now the focus is on the comprehensive immigration plan. I don't think other bills will get any traction till the comprehesive bill is tackled.

Everytime such bill is proposed our hopes go high and then they are crashed when all the bills fail.
We are truly like a man drowning trying to catch even a weed to hope that we wont drown. Wooh what a rollercoster ride.
History has taught us not be happy or overjoyed by a new "proposed" bill, but its human nature to be optimistic and hope.
Lets hope that like in the past our hopes dont come crashing again.
