Like I said you have done a superb job.
Hats off to you again.

I have a request, is it possible to sort with a combination of headings, for example by RD and AD or RD and FP or FP and AD or RD and EAC/State/EB.

That would be the Ultimate tracker!!
And if it is too much of a hassle then dont worry about it, I was just thinking out aloud.

Thanks guys. Regarding Sub-Sorting...

Currently it allow sort on one field . Second field is hardcoded.
I have 2 suggestions and you guys tell me which one makes more sense.

1. Hardcode the 2,3 level of sorting, and first one you already have a control on. Like if RD is the level 1 then we can Hardcode like pd. and if users click on RFE, then AD/PD are the 2,3 level So we can define like following
PD - AD/rfe
AD- NAME/EAC
RFE AD/FP
etc

2.I can create preferences section where you can set what kind of 2,3 level of sorting you want. And you will be able to access thru every page. Like You are viewing data with AD sorting and you want ad/fp/RFE
then you click on preferences and select the order 2-FP,3-RFE. That preference will used for any sorting you do on the months tracking pages.

Let me know. Post your comments

I am sure once you get the gist of what I am talking about you will be able to decide what is best

As far as I am concerned I am totally green about programming, and know nothing about "Hardcode". Maybe some of our other fellow Waiters have a better suggestion.

So please do whatever you think will be best and easy to use.

greaty-k I again feel the need to emphasize that if its too much of a hassle, dont bother about it.

Sorry I should have explained it better ....

Hardcode, means that sub-sort will be pre-defined for every heading.
Let say, If we all decide we need when someone sort on PD, then system should subsort on RD under PD.
And pre-fined sort are nto a big deal for me to define. Very easy job.
My program is very dynamic, I just need to make setting changes.

Like now if you sort on \'name\' column there is not sub-sort defined. IF we decide on what all heading we need sub-sort and what all columns.
What do you think ?
Thanks

Thanks for the prompt reply and the laymans explanation.

I think we should have a general consensus on this issue, So I request all our fellow waiters to please pitch in their views.

In my personal opinion I think RD with ND and FP and/or RD with State and AP and/or RD with FP and AP.

What doy think guys?
and thanks again great-k!

Tracker Change.

I think, since greaty_k\'s web site includes lot of dynamism, it would be good if we could have the preference set up!

Great job greaty_k!!

Sorry, guys

And I decided to work on preferences which will allow you to sort the way you want. I'll give the details by tomorrow.
I do appreciate your support.

Thanks
