Rupnet - Todays Approvals (off topic)

Whenever I look at Todays Approvals in Rupnet I see tons of EAC approvals. On rare occasions there are a couple with LIN numbers. Is NSC that slow ?? Or is it that NSC is just not picking up cases represented in Rupnet ?

Interestingly I do not remember seeing any approvals from other centers. Is it because there are none, or have I inadvertently set a filter ?

ssb, what you see is what they have.

I am seeing the same trend. EAC vs. LIN. Seems like EAC is always winning. And EAC is jumping with big strides. And they are more liberal and look into cases with open mind and don't generate many unnecessary rfes. This is my opinion after visiting
rupnet almost everyday.

That is right. We poor NSC people are getting so excited to get a RFE by assuming they haven't totally forgotten us while Vermont keeps sending out most approvals without bothering those unnecessary RFEs. I am one of the happy ones who just sent back the RFE and hoping for the best.

Cheers fellows,

this is why you see no approvals from NSC

I read that earlier in the weekly mail sent out by Attorney Murthy. Note that although it was released by AILA on April 18, it is based on a teleconference they had on January 22. So the contents of the AILA release probably reflects the freeze they had in Dec/Jan. Presumably, we are already seeing the I485 adjudication of "substantial numbers of cases" that NSC indicated in the teleconference.

They seem to be in for perpetual training. Security is something that should be close to approving. Clear security, approval sent. If not, we get somthing like those terrorists getting visas after commiting crimes.

So why dont they keep it next to finger printing. Better yet, verify docs, security check and approve ! approvals in 3-6 months ! I dont understand what they are doing for 15-24 months !

It looks like this news was released a while ago. Do anyone have any update for us, the poor NSC people?
