I think its like chicken pox it will go away after a month so you wont be contagious any more !
So i dont think it will harm your application.
But perhaps someone with medical abilities, will post for you and explain better than me ...
Rubella is one of the basic vaccinations most people get because it can be extremely dangerous to a fetus in early pregnancy. If you are contagious I am pretty certain you would not be allowed in. I don't know how it works for after the disease is over but if it's like chicken pox in that you are immune thereafter, you should be ok then.
Fwiw if you have not had a rubella vaccination then I assume there are quite a few that you haven't had, so be prepared for the costs of those to be added to your medical.
Just to add, if you have an infectious disease that resolves itself or can be treated (like TB) you won't be denied a visa but it will be put on hold till you are clear. Depending on the time this takes you may have to redo the full medical or your visa expiry date may be quite short as the visa cannot have an expiry date beyond the validity of your medical.
