RTD is enough for travel?

I would like to know what docs are required for overseas travel.

RTD alone is enough?
By the way, is RTD a paper or plastic card? Where is visa stamped?

or

RTD + GC?

or

RTD + expired PP?

Thanks. :)

RTD is a passport called (travel document) with few pages on it, for visa processing. That's all you need, to travel abroad.
Make sure you get all your traveling facts straight, cau'z some countries don't recognize the document itself (like Yemen).

RTD looks like a passport but it is not one. Depending on the country you are traveling to, you might need a visa, and it would be stamped on the document. If you are already a permanent resident, take your green card along.

I thought after getting GC, you don't need a RTD? Or do you only need RTD if you don't want to use/don't have a valid NP?
