RTD after greencard

If you get Greencard thru asylum.. then if you want to travel outside the country... will they still issue you RTD?
 
Yes they will issue you RTD. The only difference is that in the category where it says asylee will be replaced with prermanet resident.

This change in cateogry may affect your travel plans as some countries which did not require you to obtain visa prior to travel may now require it.

All GC holders can apply for a travel documet called the Reentry Permit. It's about the same size as RTD but it has white cover.
