RRP refused

Hi Rana,
Sorry to hear that. From what my lawyer told me that a RRP
refusal does not cancel/ jeopardise your PR but it goes
into your file ? I dont know if the port of entry can access
your imigration file online . Is there no way you can move to
vancouver and commute to work to seattle ? I know of some people
who do that takes 2-3 hrs each way so they go home every other
day.
Did you have an interview ?
what resons did you give to the officer ? and what were his
replies ?

My husband went to the office. He was asked to submit whatever papers he had and the passport. After 15 minutes she called him and told him about the refusal.All across the counter. They have also put a date stamp on his passport. Commuting to Canada will be 3 1/2 each way. The reason we gave was that we need some more time to permanently move to Canada. My husband has committment with his employer till May and then after that we have to go to India to sell our property which will take around 4 months.We didn\'t sell the property because our status in US is not permanent and now that we have PR of Canada we want to wind off our belongings in India. We have not received the refusal in writing.
I tried for a job in Vancouver but they need local address and without moving I cannot have a local address.
When will we come to know of Bill C-11?
