they may need a copy of your driver licence or any type of ID,

i remember first time i applied for TRAVEL DOCUMENT, i got the same situation like you, when i received the letter from the INS,al they were asking about is a copy of ID

With application, I already mailed old RTD, copy of GC & copy of DL, 2 photos and ofcourse money order, what else they would need.

wait for the RFE letter and then please tell us what the reason was. There have been posts here where people never bothered to update us and that is annoying. Most likely they want something else that silly. They did that to my EAD applications a number of times.

They may be asking you to submit the fingerprints. That is the reason I believe.

I got the letter today, they are requesting new photos, (they don't like my old photos LOL), reason I already used those photos last time, they want new photos, dam now I have to spend another $20.

In the reject letter they requested that "Digital photos are not accepted". Not very long ago someone here was having problems with his photos from Walmart. I took some photos from Ritz Camera, the only type of photos they take is on Digital camera, and than they put the memory card in kodak machine to print the pictures.
I need help guys please respond and tell me if I am ok to sent these photos, which I took at Ritz Camera, if not than what else I should do, I don't want USCIS just abandoned my application for incorrect photos, I have already waited for 10 months, and I badly want to go Europe during summer.
Please respond soon, cause I want to mail them out soon.

Sam33... same thing happened to me. I got "digital" photos from Walgreens that was printed on regular photo paper but I got a letter saying I needed to resubmit non-digital photos. You can go to Mail Boxes Etc, among other places, for approved passport photos.

Thank You WoosterLad for your advice, today I went to another place and took another batch of photos, which are not digital, their camera was slightly bigger than Polaroid camera.

Hello SAM33.

I had found this information for the new I-131 form that might help you.

The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched. NOTE: Because of the current USCIS scanning process, if a digital photo is submitted, it needs to be produced from a high resolution camera, that has at least 3.5 mega pixels of resolution.
Passport-style photos must be 2" x 2." The photos must be in color with full face, frontal view on a white to off-white background. Head height should measure 1" to 1 3/8" from top of hair to bottom of chin, and eye height is between 1 1/8" to 1 3/8" from bottom of photo. Your head must be bare unless you are wearing a headdress as required by a religious order of which you are a member. Using pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and Alien Receipt Number on the back of the photo.
