Rosedale, Ny, 2 Cases-Weird Situation!!

I have an old Political Asylum case at Rosedale, NY, since 1991. In Oct. 2003 I wrote a letter to Rosedale to close the Asylum case, but there was no answer from them.
In the meanwhile I have another ongoing Employment based I485, since May 2002. NYUSCIS couldn't process the I485 because of my other case, so they ssent the I485 also to Rosedale.
Although I went to Rosedale several times, I couldn't get them to close my Asylum File and send the Employment I485 file back to NY (Fed Plaza).
This is a strange case, since my Employment case cannot be processed because of my previous asylum case. Any advice?
 
Theres a lot of free help in NYC for asylees and immigration in general depending on where you live in the city u can try catholic or jewish charities , but in your case your trying to do it under employment , so consult a good lawyer ( also nyc got a lot of scam lawyers .. so be very carefull , use one that one of your friends used ) i am not sure what people at Rosedale told you but you can always withdraw your asylum application only be very carefull about your legality in this country after that was granted ... they might send you back to you home country and do your I-485 from there
