Role of lawyer after NVC

Hi all

Was wondering about the role / importance of a lawyer once the NVC has created a case and issued a fee bill. Can I just get the fee bill from my lawyer and send the payment and the DS3032 form and take it further from here on by myself, instead of having to be at the mercy of the lawyer.

You can do if your lawyer is merciful to handover the stuff to you. Actually the role of lawyer ends after the sending the P3 packet.
