Role of KCC

1/ What is the exact role of KCC in the process of the DV.
2/ If my # is current and scheduled for interview is that mean the name check had been done .
3/ If I have a reentry permit for 2 years will it be valid if I break it and enter say after six months and depart again or I have to get new one.

1. They make the whole lottery process (select applicants, send letters etc pp)
2. Nothing is done before the interview
3. From what I know it is still vaild if you enter and depart from the US again
