Hi,

My family are seriously consider to visit our native country soon since my mother-in-law is suddenly in bad condition.
If possible, I want to bring my kids as well as she is eager to see her grand-sons.
Can my children,7 & 11th grade, can apply AP along with me
by walking-in BCIS local office?
If yes, they must present in the BCIS office to apply AP?
Then what's best idea to justify the emergency trip of kids?
Is it risky for kids to reenter US as using AP?

Yes, you can tell them that you want to attend to your ailing MIL and that she would like to see her grand-kids. I guess it would be a good idea for them to be present at the BCIS office, just in case. No, it's not risky at all to re-enter on AP as long as you have a clean immigration record.

Historically, u should travel on an AP only under emergency. So yours is the right cause and so you should not have a problem. You might have to prove it though.....

Go ahead with your trip, no problem, make sure to get AP at your local service centre.

You may call the 800 number to confirm the timings and whether they process AP on walk-in basis at your service centre. Yes, you need to take Kids with you.

You only need to mention that you are goling for personel purpose or you may elaborate if you want.

I have travelled overseas with Kids this Feb on AP and leaving and comming back on return !

So do not worry and make your plan !!!!!!!!!!!!
