Hi,
Before I ask my question, please let me give a brief explanation of my case...
1. I took a job offer before I could complete my thesis defense. I won't be
able to finish my defense till spring 2005 and consequently won't be getting
my MS diploma till spring 2005.
2. I have applied for H1-B visa and yet to hear a decision from USCIS.
3. My job profile of my previous job in India and present job matches and my
major in both undegrad and masters is the same and related to my job.
(Just to explain to you that I haven't switched majors and field of work!)
4. While submitting my application for H1-B visa, for MS diploma I submitted a
letter from my Graduate advisor stating that I have completed my MS
coursework and just thesis defense is pending, which I will be completing in
Spring 2005.
My question is..... How risky is it to go to Mexico/Canada to get H1 visa stamping without MS diploma (just the letter from Advisor), other required documents being okay.
Thanks in advance.
ssalam
