Talked to someone (yes a live person, although she did not sound very lively) at the Philly backlog center. She said they are working on 2001 cases right now and their goal is to get rid of the backlog during the 24 months they are in existence.

I suppose that means all RIR backlog should be dealt with by end of 2007?

This may not be useful to you but thought I'd share anyway.

It is interested. I am not sure what center for California (since I never care about it) but my company in SF bayarea have been receiving a lot of approval for RIR cases of 2001-2003 in the last few months. I know because they give out Sub LC to many people (at least I know 6 sub cases in my division. Also there are many more cases with orginal beneficial) in the last few months with PD of 2001-2004. All LC are orginal LC and branch new received from DOL. The person who is in charge for Immigration in my comp complains a lot due to the heavy workload of filling I-140 and I-485 in the last few months. Her job just gathers document from us and gets the employment verification letter signed , then sends to Attorney. It is like party time in the last few months for many of us.

old labor PD....being re-used........i can see my wait time increasing by 3-5 years....unless i hunt for one myself...

They have been saying that ...

This is the same record they are playing at PBEC for last 24 months and I am sure it would be same for next 24 months. They are taking theory of relativity too far ...

Sub LC

Hello,

So if my company has an old labor certificate can I use it (provided it matches with my skill set)? What about the PD? Would be the old PD or the date I file my I-140/I-485? Can I file I-140 & I-485 concurrently?

All answers appreciated.

thank you!
