RIR route in the current economic environment

Hi, I am contemplating going the RIR route than the regular route for a GC. My company has been hiring Manufacturing engineers (my designation and skill) in the past 6 months. Keeping the current economic scenario in mind, it will be great if somebody would tell me if this is the wisest thing to do.
I am based in Northern california......I know local emonomy matters in this case.

I disagree with you.. If that were the case, then IT cases in SFO DOL should be approved without any fuss. The fact that they are not approving most of the IT cases because of current economic conditions mean that they look at the economic situation at the time DOL looks into the case.
