Hi all, My lawyer has informed me about a meeting that she had with DOL sec. Cases at the backlog eliminatuon centers (BECs) will be sorted into RIR and regular labor certification cases, and advise is that they are making every effort to get the cases with the oldest priority dates processed first, regardless of whether they are RIR or regular. Therefore, if the RIR processing is going faster than the regular case processing, the DOL intends to shift its resources. There likely will be little advantage as far as time for those who filed RIR cases rather than regular cases.
WHat does that exactly imply??? I think PERM has finally made its mark...
