hi. I've been reading the posts and i understood so many people got their RIR rejected. Are they in IT?
How about if I'm an electrical engineer, non-IT? is it affected too?

or basically all occupations are having a hard time now??

thanks

Any occupation which has seen substantial layoffs will have trouble getting thru RIR. EEs and ITs have has layoffs greater than the national average.

Dept of Labor would be a good place to start. Also look at IEEE website. Some state employment agencies also have relavant info.

i got one more question
for RIR, do we have to use standard occupation title which is listed on DOL website (flcdatacenter.com, owl library)?

if i'm working for a company doing intelligent transportation systems and job description is to design road and highway safety devices, there will be none of such title of transportation engineer and job description in the owl library.

what should i do for this?
