I think there are quite a lot of H-1B workers who filed RIR for their GCs but being paid not high enough. Unfortunately, I am one of them. I am afraid my question will be asked by many of you sooner or later.
My current H-1B is for a position requiring BS degree. And it had to be done in this way because my salary is not enough with MS requirment. However, since I filed RIR, which means my employer was getting one position for me for my MS degree, I wonder if it would prove my RIR untrue if I renew my H-1B still with BS requirement? Do I have ask my boss for a raise to meet the MS's salary and file the H-1 requiring MS degree?
Can anyone with same experience share your story?
