RIR advertisement

Hi all,
I am a new member of this forum. The employer who is willing to sponsor my greencard is telling me that only one advertisement is enough for applying through RIR. (Is'nt it 6 months?). Is this true? Please advice.

Get into appropriate state thread. There is no set rule about it - it is guideline that people follow based on state SESA.

One is never good idea though.
