My friend\'s wife is the primary applicant. She filed AOS in VSC sometime between Sep-Dec 1999. My friend got his plastic card couple of months before but his wife didn\'t get it so far. She called INS yesterday to find out the reason behind the delay. They couldn\'t give her areason by looking into her file in their system. The Unbelievable part is, yesterday night she received a call from INS at her residence. They directed her to talk with her attorney as they have mailed a RFE against her file. She felt happy....in fact shocked for the prompt reply for INS. I have never heard of them calling at our residence, so just thought to pass on this info to others about my friends experience with INS.
