Greetings!
On Nov, 15th I received an email from CIS that RFI was sent out. But since my address is just changed and I haven't received the letter yet. The representative told me to call back until Dec 30th.
Two qestions:
(1) I guess the letter they sent out will be the medical exam. Can I go to take the exam and send out the results even without the letter? (i don't want to wait until dec 30th)
(2) What heck is on that 'magic letter'? Can someone who received similar letter give me an outline?(a scan would be greatly appreciated!)

New to this forum and thanks all the info!!

1) you can take the exam before you get the letter.
2) I can't post it online because I don't have a scanner, the letter basically give you some instructionw how to submit medical form I-693, you also need to go to USCIS website to download form G-325A, fill it and mail it with your medical form. It also give you the mailing address of uscis where the evidences should be sent back to,( the address will be different based on which service center handling your case, TSC or NSC. the importanct thing is you should mail the original RFI letter with the evidences back to uscis before the deadline indicated on your letter. you can't have it done without your own letter. in my case, uscis gave me two and half months to finish it, you still have enough time.

thank you freemanmo. that's very helpful.
it seems i can do nothing about it. as usual, i will just take my time and let fate take me anywhere.

check with you lawyer ...he must have your RFI .
anyway make appointment with immigration doctor for I-693 and download G325A .

It is ok

Dear, applyarea, It is ok to do the medical exam in advance, but make sure that you recieve the RFI before mailing the results. the RFI always has code that makes easy for the servive centers to match you response to your file. If you send your response without that paper, the service center may never recieve your response and deny your application. so wait until you recieve the paper.
Another point, when making address change some people, do the AR11 for address change and wait the services to contact them at their new address. This address change is normally legal requirement and doesn't sometimes change the address on your application. so check them to make sure they have your new address. normally, you would need to contact their 1800 and make the address change for the application........Good lucky

Again

Again It is very very poor and unwise decision to send a RFI without the letter with code information. Wait until you recieve the paper and respond to it....It is safer than any other choice.......

Thanks folks. Faysal was right - I didn't call 800 number until resently. So they sent it to old address and the mail forwarding was already expired.
I'll go ahead and take faysal's advice: do the medi and wait for the letter.

Do not sit and wait again

Make sure you call them, and write to them. Make sure that they have your knew addres. Ask for the request for evidence again. One thing the folks at the 1800 are good at is resending lost RFI. Contact them and have them send you a new RFI at your new address :)

faysal, you are very nice. looks like you are more worried than i am. my case was sent to TSC and the representative told me they don't have effective way of communicating with TSC, except ----- a 'magic' email box...
funny though. but i am not worried since i wait in a long line to check out. not my turn yet.

I am not really that worried and I understand where you stand in terms of approval of your applicaltion. Some times what happens is if the USCIS sends a RFE and you don't get that, the next thing may be a denial of your application.  and that is not a situation you wanna find yourself in. I like being proactive and I don't wanna my fellow immigrants to find themselves in blac hole.
