RFI and Biometrics

Are all of you who recently received RFI also got biometrics? Or is CIS sending a request for biometrics arbitrarily or is there any reason behind their request? Should I be worried about not receiving the biometrics?

well in theory you should be worried because I got a RFI and my ND is May 2001..But then what can you do about it?If you call USCIS they will say they arent processign anything after DEC 1999 YET..and they wont talk to u..They dont even know what RFI is...

Wantmygcnow, my case status date moved on 03/30/05, no change on the message, no RFI in the mail til today. ND March/01. What do you think is going on? Let me know your thoughts.

Well before I got the RFI..My Case status jumped too..Like 2 days in a row then i got a RFI maybe 2 weeks after. I have no clue what they are doing.
