Fellow waiters,
It is around 7 months now since the CIS has received the response to my RFE. Is there some info available on the CIS web site/other-sites suggesting 1) a response time from CIS for
RFEd cases (I remember hearing some time back the time line of 6 months) and 2) RFEd cases for older RDs would be processed earlier compared to more recent RDs.

If you go to CIS processing times page: https://egov.immigration.gov/graphics/cris/jsps/index.jsp?textFlag=N#

and select nebraska service center, it says to call the INS if the case is not approved within 60 DAYS received RFE response. 60 days my a**!

It's been over 6 months for me, I called them, asked them about that particular statement on their website, the result -- "we are processing Sept 30th cases, wait your turn".

I don't think there is anything that can been done untill their processing dates show that your RD is past due. I did write a letter to a senator last week and waiting for his response, but I'm not holding my breath for his help.

All we can do is WAAIIIIT...
 
That is true. My attorney's office also pointed to NSC rep regarding the 60 day wait but the answer is same as russian mentioned. Is there any pattern for DEC 2001 cases ??

Thanks guys for the info. I was trying to follow-up on
Prasadc's experience of dealing with the local congressman and
CIS.

I am also waiting for the last three months of RFE received by USCIS. I called them last week and they said I have to wait as they are still processing sept'01 cases.
