Schedules since is used with Tax return means Schedules A, B, C D etc. I am most familiar with Schedule D which is a statment of capital gains and losses in the stock market or mutual funds.
go to IRS website for more info. If you do your own taxes and you have not heard of these schedules (which I find wierd), then probably it does not apply to you anyway.
