Guys,

Do you know how long it takes INS to act after they receive RFE (we sent it yesterday) and also, how often they sent second RFE.

Maja, what was your RFE for?

It all depends on what was it for?

If it\'s for I-140, it might take 2-3 months. But for other requests, it might take a shorter time.

About getting a 2nd RFE, we\'re not really sure. I\'ve seen some postings stating that they got a 2nd RFE. But it seems to be rare.

Hi,

 I got an RFE for photos for my AP.
I just sent it yesterday.
According to my lawyer, it should take 3-4 weeks.

Anybody had an RFE for photos and how long does it take?

Neo,
Initialy, RFE was for amended I-140, but the company changed name again (!) to what it was before (when I-140 was applied) so, there is no need for amended I-140, according to my attorney. The company just gave letter and we sent it on monday as a reply to RFE.
Any idea how long it\'ll take them?

Sorry, I have no idea. First time I heard of this scenario.

But logically, it will take your case off the RFE queue and proceed to the next step.
