Myself and my family had valid visa until June 2005. My company applied for my H1 extension and they forgot to apply for my wife's H4 extension. In the meantime we applied for the I485 and EAD during Oct 2005 and both of us got the EAD. Now we received an RFE by asking the valid visa documents of my wife's for the period June 2005-Oct 2005. My attorneys are saying that this is not a problem because we applied for the EAD within 6 months of her H4 validity. What do you think about this? Please let me know. THANKS.
