RFE with I140 ... One question

My friend has recieved RFE. She has to file new I140 as company has merged with other company. My question is does she need to send document
proving "Successor in interest" ? Her lawyer is a a..hole

Has anybody in the same situation ?

I got the same RFE. For me, it clearly says that I have to file a new I-140. The RFE mentions that even in case of successor of interest, I have to file a new I-140. My lawyer did that and we mailed it on July 19th. The message still has not changed. But, when I talked with the IIO last week, she said that they had received some documents on July25th. But she did not say anything more because according to her that package went to another department and she cannot say anything else. I hope they approve it fast. It has been such a long time waiting for the approval.

alp, could you tell which catagory you are in, EB2 or EB3? How does INS know your company is merged or something changed? Did your lawyer write a letter to INS or INS ask REF?
