RFE waiters - how many are still waiting?

Are there still a lot of RFE waiters? Have you replies been acknowledged by CSC? When you say acknowledged, does it mean that your case is with an IIO? Long wait, but we\'ll soon get it.

I am tired of listening to the message "On April 28, 2001 we mailed you a notice requesting for additional info".

More than 4 months after RFE Acnowledgement by CSC!!! No approval yet

Got an RFE in May about company name change. Lawyer responded towards the end of June and the AVM was updated on July 5.

How long does it usually take from the AVM update to approval?

Jat123 - Did you call an IIO recently? What is their response?

I am in the same boat. BTW, what is your ND?

I called IIO couple of times. No use.
 
WAC # is 01-032-XXXX and notice date is in Nov.

I tried calling INS, but always got busy tone.

Did you call IIO??what was the response??

AVM updated 8/17 and waiting

ND 11/00, FP 01/01, RFE 05/25/01, replied 06/04/01, AVM updated 08/17/01

Looks like there are a lot of us - also, the pattern that we used to see earlier of about one month from AVM update to approval doesn\'t seem to be holding - recently, we have seen one approval that was less than a week after AVM update, others which are 2-3 months after update, and some which are not approved even months after the update. As always, INS does everything to make sure that it is unpredictable!
 
Ajay - I called IIO

I called IIO at least 5 times (even last week). Every time,I called them the answer is same. Your RFE response must be some where in the mail room (may be lying in a corner). Give us one MORE month and we will find IT.

BTW, My attorney (state : MD) said that - they have one more I485 client who is having same kind of problem with RFE. Just curious, where is your attorney located?

Also, I dont know whether sending FedEx over UPS is going to make any chenge for the RFEs. Accidently, seems like both of us responded to RFEs by FedEx.

I know that - Ravi sent his RFE response by using UPS and finally, INS found his RFE.

I-485 .. Still waiting for approval!!!
I have moved to a new address, so hope that approval letter gets forwarded. Meanwhile, waiting for AVM to say the golden words!!
