For my 485. Received the RFE on June 14th. Replied on July 5th.
When I checked the AVM on July 11th. It says "RFE is mailed on
July 10th". Then I talked to IIO. We found out that WAC # on
RFE is that of WAC of my I-140. RFE has the correct Alien no.
Alien no is given after I-485 application not at the I-140 stage.
When I talked to IIO today, she says they didn't receive the
response till now. "NOT entered in the system"
When I check the AVM against my I-140 case, it says "RFE issued
on June 14th", which is already approved.
Do I just need to wait and watch.
Or should I send another response with Xerox copy of RFE
putting a note that, WAC no is wrong. So that response
does not get misrouted. Does INS uses A no for routing the
response ?????
