Most RFE issued when ND was b/w 10/00~12/00
According to those RFE messages, I find out that most ND was b/w 10/00~12/00. Based on INS processing time, they need to open your case 6 months after ND. For example, if your ND was 11/00, they should open your case in 5/01. You may find out many people who got RFE between 4/01~6/01 (ND 10/00~12/00). But after that no one report she/he receive RFE anymore. If this is true, it means that INS had a high volume job b/w 4/01~6/01 (maybe 245i). Since they need to open your case 6 months after ND, if they couldn\'t finish/approve the cases, they would send out RFE. Not because of our cases have problems but they couldn\'t finish their job for a certain period. I got RFE in 5/01 and requested W2, paystubs and employment letter, etc. It doesn\'t make sense to me to send out my last 3 years of W2 because some of us worked in different companies in the past 3 years. So why INS need to see our W2 and it doesn\'t reflect anything for our current job. Therefore, I think that INS sending RFE notice is an excuse to delay our cases processing time.
