RFE Sent, Waiting for Response

Hi Guys,
Can you guys please share experience about RFE sent and waiting for response ..

I have replied my RFE on 485 last week and LUD has been changed 4 times after that.

Can you guys share experince about how many days it is taking to send final answer in case of RFE?

EB2
140/485 RD:12/29/2003
FP:11/23/2004
140 AD:3/16/2005
485 RFE Sent:3/23/2005 (Tax return , w2, EVL)
RFE Repplied on 4/1/2005
LUD on 485: 4/5/2005(RFE Received), 4/6/2005, 4/7/2005, 4/8/2005 No msg changed.

Don't get disappointed for no response , we are all in a ship not just a boat
:-) ...

With out considering exceptional cases ( one week approval and few cases more than 1 yrs ) the average time is 2 weeks to 3/4 months .

Our timing are almost same

Our process timings are almost same.. Mine RFE also was received by VSC on 4/5 and then i have three more updates.. Lets see what comes out.
 
I got Ref on 6 dec 04 and INS receieved it 15th dec 04 waiting still today.

Is it possible to get 2 REF Request have guys got only one query or 2 I receieved a query on Dec 6th 2004 and they receieved the response on
15th Dec 2004 .
since then nothing changed its 2005 April do have any idea when will they even think about me.

Open inquiry

You better open inquiry with VSC because u havent heard anything from them till 60 days after they received ur response for RFE.
It might help.

I have received only one RFE (thank you god and pray god that not to have one more ). by going through the post in this forum, which got delayed after FP and RFE's . i suggest you to inquire with VSC agent and find why its pending for so long ( i know its tough to get the answer from VSC customer support agent but we have many examples in this forum , who have crossed the barrier of "No additional information available other than USCIS web site details " ) . also have you checked the status of your Name Check (NNCP) ? if not send an email to FBI NNCP . this status may takes more than 3 months but still its good to do some thing rather than nothing .

i do n't want to give any false hope or perfect fix to your delay but its just a suggestion .... if i was been a selfish and hypocrite then i would not suggested you to go for Name check .. the reasons
1. looking at the time to reply of status from FBI NNCP , i think FBI might have limited resources .
2.they might be more work loaded now than before as number of people requesting might have jumped after seeing the posts in this forum .


i wish your approval ASAP and wish the same to all the ppl waiting for theirs.

Well I did inquire about it .. my attorney called and send a written letter to them

and what they changed the status online saying they have send the response on 29th of march and if I did not get it with in 30 days I should call them .

"On March 29, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

and the response i receieved from them is "your case is pending it will take us 60 days ".

now what should I do ??? :)

I am going to sit quitely as I don't even have a pay stub to give them as I have 1 year old and I am pregnant and expecting a baby any time so .. cannnot even get a pay stub from any where ..
I am quite afraid if they ask me for any other ref.

RFE received, reply time frame

in our case after receiving rfe it took them one week to transfer our case (EB3)to NYC..LUD changed 4 days in a row.

What happens after that

Hi Gogi274,
what happens after they transfer to district office. My 485 also had 4 LUD in four days after they received the RFE.

they received our RFE & 11/05/2004 they transfer our case to NYC. still waiting for interview letter.

Are your PD is current

I am in EB2 category so my pending dates are current. Do you pending date is before Apr02? As you are in EB3 they may wait till your PD is before their priority dates.

Happy to tell that my GC path is to the end.
Finally i was approved yesterday.. I got magical mails yesterday...
