RFE (Second Posting), Please Help

I responsed INS\'s requriment for Employment Letter on Dec. 27, 2001 and INS\'s VM has updated on Dec. 31, 2001. In Employment Letter, it included my current title, salary and my company intention to continue employment. But I am still waiting right now. I have seen a lot guys got approval within one month after RFE. I would like to know how long it should take for RFE cases. I also do not know if my response meets INS\'s requirment, because my company just said they intend to continue employment, but they did not say they intend to continue employment after GC approval. Does it give a negative effect on my 485 petition? Thank you very much for any help.

You don\'t need the letter to say anything about intention to employ you after GC approval. The way you replied should do it. It will not effect your 485. Don\'t worry about it. I don\'t know about how much time it takes after RFE but keep checking AVM.

Could u post more detail?

Could u post more detail? like RD/ND/Country/EB, employment changes during the 485 process, 180 day rule excercised etc.?

    I am sorry tosay I am not clear RD or ND. But my details are the following:
    I filed 140 in 10/1999 and got approval in 10/2000. I filed 485 in 11/2001 and got RFE for employment letter in 12/2001. I responsed to INS on 12-26-2001. AVM updated on 12-31-2001. I am waiting right now. Country China and EB1. No employment change during the 485 process. Any question, Just let me know.

I and my family got GC approval. I just checked AVM 1 hour ago and heard this voice. Thank you guys. Good luck for all.
