Attorney submitted response to RFE that was delivered to NSC on June 5, 2006 but date or status has not been updated on pending 485 applications.
I changed job using AC21 in February 2006. Company's attorney decided to submit AC21 documents proactively. When his office was about to mail documents to USCIS, I received RFEs on our pending 485 applications. RFE was for medical reports as we did not submit them with 485 applications.
Attorney decided to mail AC21 documents and RFE responses together. They thought that this way it can be ensured that AC21 documents land in my file correctly.
Now, after almost two weeks of submitting the documents, there is no update in date updated/status of the cases. However, I saw date updated to 6/10/2006 on my I140 that was approved in August 2005 and after that never had a date update.
Has anyone run into the situation where date update happened very late or did not happen but documents made to the correct files?
I plan to take up with attorney's office some time next week.
