I am the primary applicant and applied for my wifes 485. My case got approved on Jan 16th and got plastic card.(RD- Aug 20th 2002)
On Jan 26th RFE was generated on my wifes case. We or lawyer never received. After 3 months of wait and contacting USCIS , RFE was send on April 6th. Lawyer received on last Friday (April 16th). We did not have enouth time to reply to the RFE as the TARGET date was mentioned as April 22nd.
The RFE was - 2 current photos and I-864(Affidavit of Support). Not sure why they would need it. Actually my wife is on her maiden name so I am thinking they might have thought something different. Anyway .. we replyed to the RFE last night and VSC has received it today morning.
What do you think how long we have to wait for decision?
