One of the things USCIS wants in the RFE I received is proof of emlployment. (The other is some documentation to establish that my mother is actually who I say she is).
The issue is the company I am working for and was working for all this time changed its name. My position, salary etc have remained unchanged. My lawyer did not file for an amended I-140 nor informed USCIS about the name change.
Will this cause problems ? In the reply, my lawyer says it is okay to mention that even though the company is different the position is same. Will that be okay ?
This may not be a big issue but my lawyer never fails to amaze me with her inefficiency so I thought I would make sure.
