RFE: Reply around May. Who is left

I replyed the RFE on my EAD around May, the AVM just updated to "receive my document on July,10", and haven\'t get approved yet.

I suspect that INS has lost or misplaced my docs and am trying to get my lawyer re-send the docs before 90 days from RFE issue date are up by Aug 3. My lawyer has agreed to send the inquiry fax on the basis of suggestion by IIO yesterday, when I called.

Rajesh, do you have any news / are you doing anything? pls post.
 
RFE reply on May 08

Ravi what happens if 90 days pass since the time you responded to a RFE. My lawyer send my documents on May 08 and so far there are no updats on the AVM. Lawyer told me that INS was behind in updating the AVM and there is nothing to worry about since they have a fed-ex receipt that the package was delivered at CSC.

My lawyer gives the exactly same explanation i.e. we have the return receipt as proof. My argument is- Let us assume that INS misplaced the docs (since there are no updates yet), how will they even know that we replied. Their system will "probably" pick up after 90 days are over that we have not responded to RFE.

So far, we three are together, who responded to RFE around May 10 and have no updates yet.

Don\'t assume that the documents are lost. It happens a lot of time that we tend to think of worst when things like this happen.

I am not doing anything as of now. My 3 months have expired already.
My lawyer had also faxed the RFE replies. It would be highly unlikely that both are lost. I\'ll ask my lawyer to call around Aug 10th when its three months from reply if AVM is not updated.

I\'ll also try to talk to IIO. In Vermont center the IIOs are really helpful but here they are just telling what is already known.
