Message changed on 11th and states that an RFE has been sent. It is for EVL, 3 paystubs and 2 W2s. What is the average time it takes nowadays for approval after RFE is sent?. Let me hopefully wait further for the final phase.

02-056-***** ND 12/1/01 FP 04/03/02

good luck - I am very interested in your case as I am wac 02 061 - so not far behind you. Keep us updated - I am still on FP rec/ resumed - think I could hear that message in my sleep already !!

What are they (CSC) doing?

That's getting too frustrating, I just don't have words to express.

wac-02-041 which is currently in the JIT have 230 (43%) cases still NOT EVEN TOUCHED (that is in Resumed or Received status)
And they touch less than 1 case per day!!!

So, why the hell are they working with 02-056???
This is simply INSANE!!!

We will be insane if we expect any ratioanal pattern or reasonable behavior from INS. That is how it functions. Even god can not explain it's functions or pattern of approvals. I posted my case just to imbibe some confidence to the ever-waiting community here, not to frustrate anybody. I could see approval even in 67 cases, what can I say about that. I am glad to see them and gain more hope on seeing such posts. If somebody gets out of turn or in advance, let us wholeheartedly wish them and wait for our turn with positive attitude and hope. Though your frustration is understandable, the tone of your message might discourage other members from posting their approvals or experience. I wish your case to be processed sooner.

Best Of Luck

perai123,

If possible respond to that RFE asap by courier. In the past and also in the recent times I saw that some times if some one responds immediately (before the case is sent back to waiting state) if RFE response is received the same officer may approve it immediately. There is a chance...

Also it is a positive sign that they started working on new cases (note that so far they were approving only RFE cases). Hope the speed picks up from now on.

Goodluck

INS started November cases on July 2002, we (decembers people)were waiting to long.

No doubts, you've been waiting long, but whoever applied ahead of you have been waiting even longer. Now, the fact that they have started processing December cases does not mean for MOST of the December people that their cases will be picked up soon. I would say, vice-versa, it might have an opposite effect, since this will mess 485 backlog much more deeper than it is now.

With the current processing speed, all November cases will be finished in the middle of 2004.
Such a mess in the backlog delays processing of October-01 and November-01 cases further. In turn, this will delay beginning of massive processing of December cases.

Re: Re: Re: What are they (CSC) doing?

Seems a little ridiculous to me that we have now started squabbling over things we have absolutely no control over.

I kinda agree with perai123, on this. If people start lambasting others whose cases are being currently processed by INS (due to no fault of theirs), then they will just stop posting information on the forum, and we will all be the losers in that.

I think everyone needs to just cool down. None of us has any control over this scenario, offcourse it may not seem fair to stain that perai123's case has been picked up inspite of applying before him, but what is the sense in taking it out on perai123? We are all in it together, lets not fight amongst ourselves over silly issues.

VSC has started approving Jan ND's

Guys VSC has started approving Jan ND's...Lets hope that whatever CSC does does fast trying to emulate VSC....
They were about 2-3 months behind us last year and now they have overtaken us....just shows how slow our CSC has been

I agree....Lets behave like grownups. Its not Perai's fault that his case is being picked up. All the best for Perai and rest of us in line. There is nothing wrong in wishing that our case will be picked up before the JIT report dates. And that doesnt mean that the backlogs wont be cleared. Its just a matter of time....I hope most of the peoples cases here will be cleared by next summer, if not before that. Mark my words.....Stay cool and enjoy the fun while you can.....:D

Jesus, I wish I could be so naive too.

Thanks for your advice. I've already Fedexed all the required documents to the Attorney and requested him to respond to INS at the earliest. Hope it will be done soon. I owe you a treat if your predictions becomes true, even otherwise thanks a lot for your kind suggestion. I'll update once I get any response.

Thanks for your agreement and wishes. I also share the frustration of Stain, I wish his case to be approved soon. But my worry is such an open expression should not desist others from sharing their approvals and experiences in this most helpful forum. For a moment I also repented for posting my case on seeing his message. I request all to restrain ourselves while expressing our opinion against fellow member's approvals or out of turn processes. I know few Dec ND approval cases, but they did not post their approvals here or they may be hesitating to do that. Let us not create an atmosphere that will create such a hesitating attitude in this forum.

For all other members

Thanks for all of your wishes. Today is Tamil New Year day. I heard this new year will bring lot of good things to everybody. Let it become true. I wish everybody to get their approval and all backlogs to be speedily cleared in this new year.

stain - stop being such a pessimist - it isn't helping anyone - and if there is one thing that keeps us all going its the hope that we will eventually get that damned gc - even if that hope may seem a little naiive at times
